Author; Artist; Artisan; Devon-based Creator of All-Sorts: Jacqueline Isaacs is a mum of two and a self-employed, part-time artist, artisan and writer.

As an art and literature enthusiast, she enjoys inspiring creativity in others through sharing her work and volunteering to run a FREE Art & Craft club for the children at her local primary school.

A firm believer in the importance of a creative mind, she simultaneously endeavours not only to encourage and inspire children, but also works hard at continuing to develop her own skills.

From penning black and white art with a minimalist style, to painting shimmering acrylics with depth; from wire-work, to words, to cotton-cord jewellery, her mind and her hands are always on the go, exploding with creations of beauty.

(In fact, it is so much like a literal explosion that her own mum once declared that her brain must be like a bubbling pot

– and the bubbling pot agrees.)

Lover of magic and all things ridiculous, she likes to live life with a grin and everything she writes, everything she makes, everything she embraces and does; from the simplest of bracelets, to the most complex of works; everything is done with that intangible and priceless, ever-elusive wisp: that thing that us humans call ‘love’.

P.S. If you’re reading this, then you probably already know that I have currently hung up my artisan apron to embark upon a new adventure into teaching.

On the one hand, this does make some of the above out of date, but I so much enjoy looking back over where I have come from that I decided to leave it as it is and just add this little update. After all, I think it’s quite nice for any future, prospective colleagues to see what I was up to before.
